I am at your place so often but almost nobody knows me. I am a guide an brought lot of people to you, 9 alone this week. I had the same pasta as on march 13 but there was a huge difference. This time the prawns were over cooked and they sunk in the tomato sauce (why to much sauce). I was not impressed. Did you change your chef?

we had Oysters, of course, which is the headline offering, just a cheeky dozen between two of us, they we so badly shucked, 2 had shell in the open oyster and 1 had a shard of shell that was so visible it was ridiculous. so 25% of them were not good, we left the last two and just turned them upside down to get them off the table. i was about to leave but was convinced to have some sushi as planned which was tasty but i was still vaguely annoyed about the oysters. we were asked twice about the oysters and had a little chat which ended with two team members just saying, ‘we hope to see you again soon’ like they had to say it like a robot. staff we nonchalant about service, the condiments and squeezed lemons stayed on the table until we left despite us putting them so close to the edge that couldn’t be ignored, you old have thought that out of 6+ team members someone would have noticed! they were all so ready to get out of there at 10pm it was desperately noticeable, having worked in service you have to keep going right until the end regardless. we were discounted 50% on the oysters but they should have been wiped from the bill instead. needless to say, we won’t be seeing them anytime soon
