On Paul Clüver Family Wines lies the new restaurant by Bertus Basson and Carla Burger.
Open Tuesdays to Sundays from 08:00 - 11:00 for breakfast and 12:00 - 14:30 for lunch.
Our focus is simple farm cooking in the heart of Elgin and we cater for the whole family.

    We found the lunch a little disappointing in that we had the impression that we had won R1500.00 voucher for a meal and wine. The menu was never explained to us so we were a bit in the dark as to how to order. We just waited for them to serve us with the next course. We opted for the Savignon Blanc instead of the Chardonnay. The bill came R925 plus wine but we still had to pay for water and coffee. It just left a rather bitter taste in our mouths. We would not recommend it.

    We all thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. The food was great and more than sufficient. Great value, but more importantly, delicious food. The setting also creates a comfortable, "rustig" atmosphere and cozy.

    Beautiful setting encouraging you to linger over deliciously prepared food. Best to enjoy with good friends and conversation. And don't forget the vino! You won't be disappointed!

    Bloem never ceases to satisfy. Out of this world food, friendly and welcoming service and a beautiful view of the vineyards. I can recommend Bloem highly.
