    We gave The Sanctuary another try because the 1st time was a disaster, but we had a great story to go with our visit. We pretty much had the same issue. Slow and non-existent service. We even spoke with whom we believed was the manager. We told her about our previous experience. I would have thought that she would have made sure everything was on point. Our server needs training because with only 3 tables, she should have been on point. I should have been tired of seeing her. Yet, we waited and waited and had to beckon. Unfortunately, we will not return.

    Zandile is the best restaurant manager. Me and my friend were told that the restaurant is fully booked. The reason why we didnt book is due to the fact that the guy on the phone said we must come to the restaurant to book the labia special. I would like the restaurant to be aware that customers should be treated fairly even if we are just coming for the special. Myself and my friend were not treated fairly until we saw Zandile and explained our situation. She understood and assisted us immediately. Please do speak to other staff members to treat customers equally as essentially we are the ones who would spread the word of the restaurant. The staff needs to tell customers on the phone they should book via phonecall. Thank you

    Had an incredible night at Sanctuary for Labia Thursday — genuinely one of the best evenings out I’ve had in a while. The atmosphere hit that perfect balance of lively and relaxed, and the whole event felt thoughtfully put together from start to finish. Huge shoutout to our waiter, Oyama, who made the night even better. Attentive without ever hovering, quick with recommendations, and just genuinely warm and personable throughout the meal. Service like that makes such a difference. The food and drinks matched the vibe perfectly. Will absolutely be back for the next one — ask for Oyama if you can!

    We’ve been regulars at Sanctuary Restaurant for a while now, and every single visit feels special. The staff genuinely go above and beyond — always warm, attentive, and welcoming, like they actually remember you and care that you’re there. It’s rare to find that kind of consistent, friendly service, and it’s a huge part of why we keep coming back. The food is okay too, but honestly, it’s the people who make Sanctuary feel like our home away from home. Highly recommend!
