Set on the De Meye wine farm in Stellenbosch, The Table hosts beautiful lunches using produce grown by local farmers as well as other ingredients sourced locally such as pastured raised meat, farm eggs, olive oil and cheese. Our three course set menu – abundant and comforting country fare – is served family-style on mismatched antique platters. In summer tables are spread out on the lawn, a tree apiece to give guests a sense of dining privately in some vast garden. In winter dining takes place inside our newly added dining room that looks out onto the lawn and vineyard, warmed up by wood burning fires.

A table shared with wonderful company, good conversation, and home grown food – these are the joys of a meal at The Table.

    The perfect setting for a relaxed celebratory lunch with family and friends, and the combination of al fresco + harvest feast makes this a standout destination! And, a big thank you to the staff who managed the difficult task of being incredibly attentive without being obtrusive.

    We had such a lovely afternoon under the trees. The food was delicious also the vegetarian options. Great…… sometimes way too much on the table. But soooo good. Already recommended to friends

    Love this restaurant. We have been to Table at de Meye many times over the years. It was a rainy day on our last visit and we worried it wouldn’t be our usual ‘laze on a blanket under a tree’ experience but it was warm and cosy, and the food as always, was exceptional. Leigh and Brendan deserve all the very many awards they continue to receive on a regular basis.

    every year we come for lunch and are always very happy. this comment should only be a little recommendation: the duck was a bit dry and we think that duck is not the best idea. keep well !!
