Set on the De Meye wine farm in Stellenbosch, The Table hosts beautiful lunches using produce grown by local farmers as well as other ingredients sourced locally such as pastured raised meat, farm eggs, olive oil and cheese. Our three course set menu – abundant and comforting country fare – is served family-style on mismatched antique platters. In summer tables are spread out on the lawn, a tree apiece to give guests a sense of dining privately in some vast garden. In winter dining takes place inside our newly added dining room that looks out onto the lawn and vineyard, warmed up by wood burning fires.

A table shared with wonderful company, good conversation, and home grown food – these are the joys of a meal at The Table.

    Our bookclub had their end of year lunch last Friday. It was just wonderful from beginning to end! The fact that there is so much space separating tables under the canopy of trees makes it great for big tables as you don't hear each other at all. The service amazing - such lovely people while at the same time being super professional! And the food - a table groaning with the abundance of the feast! Ingredients all locally grown and beyond delicious. Cannot recommend you highly enough - thank you!

    We had a wonderful experience! Food was delicious and we loved sitting outside under the trees enjoying the great weather. What a way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Couldn’t be better

    Our visit to De Meye in Stellenbosch was simply wonderful. We sat in the garden, perfectly relaxed under the shade of the trees, which created such a magical atmosphere. The food was outstanding. We enjoyed the 3-course lunch menu, which was incredibly well-thought-out and left nothing to be desired. Every dish felt balanced and delicious. A special mention must go to the service as well—the staff was very attentive and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout the afternoon. If you are looking for a fantastic culinary experience in a beautiful outdoor setting, I highly recommend De Meye!

    Such a gem! My husband and I had a amazing long lunch at The Table. The food was delicious, the service was warm, and the setting under the trees is super cool. We left really happy — definitely a spot we’ll come back to!
