Set on the De Meye wine farm in Stellenbosch, The Table hosts beautiful lunches using produce grown by local farmers as well as other ingredients sourced locally such as pastured raised meat, farm eggs, olive oil and cheese. Our three course set menu – abundant and comforting country fare – is served family-style on mismatched antique platters. In summer tables are spread out on the lawn, a tree apiece to give guests a sense of dining privately in some vast garden. In winter dining takes place inside our newly added dining room that looks out onto the lawn and vineyard, warmed up by wood burning fires.

A table shared with wonderful company, good conversation, and home grown food – these are the joys of a meal at The Table.

    Exquisite! Everything was exceptional! The food was freshly prepared, beautifully presented, and a tasted DELICIOUS! The setting was idyllic under the big trees and on the rolling green lawn. The service was professional, and Paul explained each course to us. I would highly recommend this amazing restaurant. We celebrated my husband's birthday, and it was more special than I expected this experience to be. We will definitely be back!

    We absolutely loved that the food was so fresh and seasonal! Not having to choose what to eat and it being a surprise was also really fun!! Sitting under the trees in the vineyard was also lovely. Definitely highly recommend this lovely restaurant

    Lovely lunch outside on the grass on a lovely day. Setting was fantastic, the service was friendly and attentive, and the three course meal was delicious and abundant. This is the best value for a meal that we we had in our month long stay in the Cape Town area (trying different venues). Highly recommended.

    Expensive, as fine dining tends to be, but significantly better than pricier options on the market in both the quality and quantity of the food. The service was great too.

    The food and service was excellent. Unfortunately the weather dictated we sit inside a small dining room which meant the accoustics were quite loud. We all thoroughly enjoyed our lunch which was 3 set courses catering for special diets very well. We were amazed how reasonable the charge per person was as we had drinks and wine included. I would highly recommend this restaurant. In good weather, the tables are set outside under the trees which would eliminate the accoustics challenge.
