Set on the De Meye wine farm in Stellenbosch, The Table hosts beautiful lunches using produce grown by local farmers as well as other ingredients sourced locally such as pastured raised meat, farm eggs, olive oil and cheese. Our three course set menu – abundant and comforting country fare – is served family-style on mismatched antique platters. In summer tables are spread out on the lawn, a tree apiece to give guests a sense of dining privately in some vast garden. In winter dining takes place inside our newly added dining room that looks out onto the lawn and vineyard, warmed up by wood burning fires.

A table shared with wonderful company, good conversation, and home grown food – these are the joys of a meal at The Table.

    Incredible experience. Peaceful, beautiful setting with wonderful food. Tasty, value for money and all round wonderful. I had a great experience for my partners 30th birthday celebration and will return.

    Second time to The Table at De Meye. It was lovely. What was missing: seeing the chef and his wife, last time had a vegetarian with us and so had a dietary requirement for a 'veggie' and I think it added an additional dimension to the food.

    Disappointed with the offering, expected a much better main, I felt the duck was well prepared however a simple cost effective dish. The desert I would classify as a morning breakfast bowl i do not mind paying for value this was definitely not value for money! I will not recommend this to my friends.

    Absolutely stunning setup in the garden and delicious food, creations and fresh local products, whci you hardly find elsewhere. Just the service was a bit slow and partly not very attntive, there is room for improvement. Otherwise an absolutely fanstastic experience, we will be back! If you want to experience it as well, make sure you can sit outside to enjoy the beautiful gardens!
