At the Vine Bistro, we serve flavour-packed bistro classics with a modern twist, and distinctive, award-winning wines from Glenelly Estate. The interior décor is warm and elegant and includes a harmonious mix of 19th century chairs, classic Parisian tables, a contemporary cellar and leather banquettes. Outside on the terrace or under the pergola, long wooden tables, a water feature and plants invite long lazy afternoons enjoying the picturesque views across the gardens vineyards and the Simonsberg foothills. A warm and heartfelt welcome, friendly and attentive service and a sublime dining experience awaits.

    It was a pleasure having lunch with friends at your restaurant. Beautiful view and setting. Exceptional food, a great bouillabaisse, like eating it in France. Great service on top by a friendly staff

    The duck mousse was a bit sour and accompanied by a puree of onions, making both mousse and onion the same texture. It would have been better to have an onion marmalade. The fish in the fish and mussel dish was overcooked , although the mussels were delicious. There was too much creamy sauce in the accompanying rice. Desert, a cream caramel was good. People were overheard talking to their children on speakerphone at the table. Staff should have politely requested them to have the conversation in the little garden in front of their table. The setting is beautiful , but the experience was let down by the food. The glass museum underneath the Bistro is definitely worth a visit.
