At the Vine Bistro, we serve flavor-packed classic bistro food with a modern twist, and distinctive, award-winning wines from Glenelly Estate. The interior décor is warm and elegant and includes a harmonious mix of 19th century chairs, classic Parisian tables, a contemporary cellar, a fireplace for the winter, leather banquettes and a traditional bar. Outside on the terrace or under the pergola, long wooden tables, a water feature and plants invite long lazy afternoons enjoying the picturesque views across the fynbos gardens and vineyards up towards the Simonsberg foothills. A warm and heartfelt welcome, friendly and attentive service and a sublime dining experience awaits.

    We had a lovely time at your restaurant, and we simply wanted to share a few small, constructive comments: • The baguette served was unfortunately not very fresh. • It would be helpful to specify on the menu that the dish contains langoustines rather than prawns, to avoid any confusion. • The langoustines were also slightly overcooked; a more delicate cooking would really enhance their flavour. • Regarding the red fruit dessert, it would be wonderful to avoid using frozen berries , fresh fruit would offer a noticeably better quality. These are only small details, but they can truly make a difference in a dining experience of this level. Thank you again for the warm welcome and the beautiful setting.
