Your Hosts - Matteo Santini & Maurizio Carlo. These Two where born and raised in Italy. Matteo In the Beautiful Bolognia and Maurizio in Fiery Florence. They have both Traveled the world for the past 10 years and Finally decided to Settle in our beautiful Cape Town. Together have taken over THE WOODLANDS EATERY as of the 01 June 2017.

They strive to incorporate authentic Italian cuisine combined with the delicious existing local flavors. We welcome you into their home and hope that you enjoy and feel part of the famiglia

    1h wait for two pizzas is a bit long. Service itself was brilliant

    My chicken dish was dry and uninspiring. The gnocchi was fine and the fried calamari was delicious

    My wife and I had our engagement dinner at The Woodlands Eatery back in April 2024, so it was really special to return for our first wedding anniversary. The food was amazing, the service was fantastic, and the atmosphere was just as warm and memorable as we remembered. A perfect place for a special occasion.

    Brilliant food! The restaurant can become noisy, but then the food make up abundantly for that. Expect the vibe of the cafes in Europe - in the heart of Cape Town.
