Your Hosts - Matteo Santini & Maurizio Carlo. These Two where born and raised in Italy. Matteo In the Beautiful Bolognia and Maurizio in Fiery Florence. They have both Traveled the world for the past 10 years and Finally decided to Settle in our beautiful Cape Town. Together have taken over THE WOODLANDS EATERY as of the 01 June 2017.

They strive to incorporate authentic Italian cuisine combined with the delicious existing local flavors. We welcome you into their home and hope that you enjoy and feel part of the famiglia

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A True Italian Gem! Woodlands Eatery is an absolute delight — 5-star food in a warm and welcoming setting. Set in a lovely old house, the restaurant exudes the charm of an authentic Italian home and kitchen. The atmosphere is cozy, inviting, and full of character. Matteo and Mizio are the heart of the place — hands-on, passionate, and always engaging personally with guests, which adds a truly special touch to the dining experience. The wine tastings are not only well-curated but also great value for money. Every visit feels like a treat, and I will definitely be returning. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a genuine Italian experience. Bravo!

    This place has become our place of comfort and routine. The pasta and pizza is impeccable. Atmosphere is warm, inviting and homely. Desserts are sometimes a miss but can't go wrong with the classic Tiramisu! Servers are excellent and cool
