Your Hosts - Matteo Santini & Maurizio Carlo. These Two where born and raised in Italy. Matteo In the Beautiful Bolognia and Maurizio in Fiery Florence. They have both Traveled the world for the past 10 years and Finally decided to Settle in our beautiful Cape Town. Together have taken over THE WOODLANDS EATERY as of the 01 June 2017.

They strive to incorporate authentic Italian cuisine combined with the delicious existing local flavors. We welcome you into their home and hope that you enjoy and feel part of the famiglia

    This was our fourth visit to the Woodlands Eatery, and damn was the experience awesome once again, friendly and helpful staff and the vibe was just right for a Thursday. The food, well, their chef knows his stuff, the food was amazing. Well worth a visit guys!

    Loved this restaurant. The lamb ragu was amazing, and my son thought his lasagne was the best he’d ever had. relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

    What an incredible evening with Matteo and Mizio. It was my first visit and it will certainly not be my last. I have recommended it far and wide.The experience was a delight. Fantastic ambience and lots of laughter. The food was superb and such good value. I cannot wait to return!
