Your Hosts - Matteo Santini & Maurizio Carlo. These Two where born and raised in Italy. Matteo In the Beautiful Bolognia and Maurizio in Fiery Florence. They have both Traveled the world for the past 10 years and Finally decided to Settle in our beautiful Cape Town. Together have taken over THE WOODLANDS EATERY as of the 01 June 2017.

They strive to incorporate authentic Italian cuisine combined with the delicious existing local flavors. We welcome you into their home and hope that you enjoy and feel part of the famiglia

    Great experience! We tried 3 different pastas and they were all exceptional. There were so many nice sounding options on the menu it made it hard to choose! Will definitely be back 🙌

    We have never had a bad meal at Woodlands Eatery. The ambience is difficult to match, and the quality of food and value for money will keep us coming back!

    Faultless...food amazing and Matteo is so welcoming, entertaining and humble. The wine pairing evenings are highly popular for very good reasons. Price is extremely attractive too. Loved it

    Pasta with lamb ragout was too heavy with ragout and not enough pasta. Very tasty though. Excellent pizza.

    Wow! What a restaurant. From the best pasta ever to delicious tiramisu for dessert to impeccable service. Woodlands Eatery is one I recommended to my friends for a Friday night dinner, and safe to say, we all walked away impressed.

    We found it extremely loud, guests often lack discernment. Corkage price very reasonable. Melanzane was delicious.
