Your Hosts - Matteo Santini & Maurizio Carlo. These Two where born and raised in Italy. Matteo In the Beautiful Bolognia and Maurizio in Fiery Florence. They have both Traveled the world for the past 10 years and Finally decided to Settle in our beautiful Cape Town. Together have taken over THE WOODLANDS EATERY as of the 01 June 2017.

They strive to incorporate authentic Italian cuisine combined with the delicious existing local flavors. We welcome you into their home and hope that you enjoy and feel part of the famiglia

    Best Italian food by far! We had the Melanzanni and 4 seasons pizza with the pear and Gorgonzola salad! Best combo everrr!

    Heerlijk gegeten! Vriendelijk personeel, de pasta’s zijn zeker een aanrader. Wij vonden het alleen bijzonder dat er al een tip bij in het bedrag zat die we moesten afrekenen. Wij bepalen graag zelf het bedrag, maar het was het zeker waard.

    I always love my visits to Woodlands. The food is delicious and the owner makes me feel like an old friend returning to my local trattoria in Italy after a long time abroad. The waitstaff are also insightful and attentive. I definitely recommend!
