Your Hosts - Matteo Santini & Maurizio Carlo. These Two where born and raised in Italy. Matteo In the Beautiful Bolognia and Maurizio in Fiery Florence. They have both Traveled the world for the past 10 years and Finally decided to Settle in our beautiful Cape Town. Together have taken over THE WOODLANDS EATERY as of the 01 June 2017.

They strive to incorporate authentic Italian cuisine combined with the delicious existing local flavors. We welcome you into their home and hope that you enjoy and feel part of the famiglia

    Honestly, what an amazing restaurant. It was our first time there, we have driven past it for over a year and last night decided to give it a try. The food was excellent, we had pizza which was fresh and crispy. The calamari was great, the squid ink and prawn risotto was just outstanding. It is our new local. Thank you everyone at Woodlands Eatery, especially Elisa. The biggest sweetheart on Earth. See you again soon...

    As always, food was perfect and in abundance and we enjoyed a lovely peaceful meal before the big groups arrived.

    We had a fantastic time... food and service first class. We attended the wine pairing set menu evening and will definitely return. The owner is fantastic.. funny, attentive and humble. The only slight negative was that it was quite noisy so we struggled with conversation... maybe look into installing acoustic panels? But it really was a fantastic evening.
