    Food overpriced for what you receive! The quality of the food was good and the meat was well prepared but the selection was lacking. Some desserts were executed well but the cheese cake was very bland. I did enjoy the Cheese Board selection and nuts. Regarsing the lunch, I have enjoyed the Hilton very much in the past (year on year) but I am not sure if I would go again anytime soon. Also, Christmas Lunch was a yearly tradition but at R 1350.00 per person it has simpky become unaffordable.

    The Tradewinds restaurant is large. We attempted to make a reservation for 4 pm; however, we could only make a reservation for 3 pm. When we arrived, the restaurant was empty. The 4 pm seating had only 4 tables booked. The reservations should be more honest with their guest bookings. The service was slow, however, the food was excellent.

    The waitress took a long time to take our order.But everything else was fine.i had a birthday and I was happy with my complimentary cake.
