Our story began in 1977 when four brothers opened the first Turn ‘n Tender in Johannesburg.

Since then we’ve become known for our love of great steak, excellent taste in wines and our warm and welcoming atmosphere where customers become friends.

We are the place for all those special celebrations and everyday occasions, because here is where you create a lifetime of memories over a meal.

    My son and I decided to spoil ourselves with a meal while celebrating new beginnings after some very difficult months, and we couldn't have chosen a better place. We enjoyed a wonderful experience at Turn N Tender - Parelberg. The staff made us feel welcome and they were warm, friendly, attentive, and professional, making our visit truly special. The steak was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and thoroughly enjoyed by both of us. Thank you for helping us create such a meaningful and memorable moment. It was more than just a meal — it was a reminder that brighter days lie ahead. We look forward to visiting again soon!

    Turn n Tender in Parelberg made a lasting impression on our family during our dad’s birthday celebration. Sine was an incredible waiter, very attentive and friendly. No order was incorrect and he is a lovely person. The food was immaculate - the steaks were served on a hot skillet, sizzling right in front of you. With all of their options it is difficult to choose! My dad had the prawns and said it was the best prawns he has ever had - hats off to the chef! The restaurant has an incredible ambience, feeling homey but still elevated. We will definitely be returning soon!
