Our ULUMBAZA Wine Bar(n) invites you to guided or independent tastings, to take along whole bottles or cases.

Head-chef Janine and her team offer a great variety of meals, from a few classics (e.g., a local version of Fish & Chips) to local dishes, you would usually not find on the menu of a restaurant (e.g., Pigs-Head Terrine). Something to accompany the wine, but also something to enjoy to the fullest on its own.

    My risotto was not cocked long enough, it was very hard. The portions is for Europeans a little to big. But location, wines and service are perfect. Alex, Switzerland

    Highly recommend taking the trip to Springfontein on the river in Stanford. A few delicious wines to taste and a very interesting lunch menu. Setting is pretty and cosy (it was raining so we enjoyed being next to the fire). Friendly staff gave us lots of information about the farm, the menu and the wine. Thank you - we will definitely be back.
