    Upper east side was not what I expected and is not what people make it out to be online. There's many different entrances so people enter and exit frequently and there isnt a waiter who is waiting to assist you directly. It was not easy to figure out where to enter since all the doors were closed (understandable because it was in the evening and it was cold) but there is nothing that clearly shows that you enter at a specific door. We got there and had to wait at a different table for a spot that we had reserved which was okay but the lighting wasn't the best. We were assisted especially when it came to recommendations but there was such a long wait time for everything we ordered. We waited 35 - 45 minutes for our main meals to be served (which were the bacon, avo and cheese burger and the Mediterranean halloumi burger) just for the patties to be really unflavoured and the meals to be cold. We had the Korean chicken and the bang bang Thai prawns for starters and they were great and 2 passion fruits and lemonade which were good but the mains really left me dissapointed as well as the wait time. We felt the service was quite terrible and underwhelming. It was also quite noisy. I had called beforehand to find out if we can be placed next to heater and was told that the restaurant is already very warm itself but when we got there it was still quite cold and there was a heater but we weren't placed near it which we were not impressed with. Even after all the dissapointment we still left a decent tip.

We sincerely apologise for the confusion on arrival, The delay in getting you settled, and especially the 35-40 minute wait for main meals. Receiving food that was cold and not prepared to the standard we expert is certainly not acceptable and we understand how disappointing this must have been. We appreciate you recognising the positive aspects of your visit, including the starters and our teams recommendations, but we understand that these positives did not make up for the short comings you experienced.     My friend and I had a great time at the restaurant. Victoria, gave the best service, she was friendly and helpful. The live music was amazing - definitely worth the experience

    Asked for a well done steak but got medium rare one. Didn’t enjoy the mash but the drinks were delicious. And the service was 10/10.
