Welcome to Utopia Cape Town, our 15th-floor home of Dining Elevated, with superb day and night views of our beautiful Cape Town. Choose a table with a City, Harbour, or Bo-Kaap view, an Instagrammers delight.

From 1 April 2023, our Tasting Menus will only be served on Mondays - Thursdays

We offer Bistro-style Mediterranean-influenced dishes designed by Chef Jacques and his team, made with superb quality fresh ingredients and served in generous portions.

We offer a number of menus to meet the tastes and budgets of our diners.

*. Our Utopia À la Carte Menu has a large selection of superb shellfish and fish dishes, as well as flavoursome meat cuts, available daily.

* Our new Utopia Tasting Menu is the best value in town, costing only R345 for a set menu of five courses, offered daily. Our Utopia Vegetarian Tasting Menu is equally excellent value, also costing R345 for a set menu of five courses. The Tasting Menus paired with 100 ml of wine each for four courses, and a tot of sweet wine with the dessert, cost R555. The Tasting Menu is only served for tables seating up to 14 diners.

Our waitron staff is able to advise you on the best wines to pair with your dishes. We have an excellent selection of wines, with a range of varietals and prices to suit all tastes and budgets. Our wines have been sourced from different terroirs, a number of them being five-star award-winning wines.

No children under 10 can accompany adults from 17h00 onwards. Smart Casual attire is advised.

    Booked for the Bo Kaap view. Was told it was not available when we arrived as a private party had rung that morning and we were moved to the city view. No apology offered just told to pick where we wanted in the city view area. Food ranged from good to great which is good for pleasing 4 people all eating different foods.

    I was lucky enough to experience what I would call one of the nicest venues overlooking the City of Cape Town from every angle, mountain, V&A and waterfront and City bowl but to my disappointment as I was the second sitting by 10 23 pm the blinds were drawn and because only three tables remained I experienced a very unwelcome situation where I would of spent more money of beverages but felt everyone was waiting for us to leave leaving myself and partner disappointed as we even went as far as to book into the hotel to make sure our evening was special. I googled to see when the restaurant actually closed and saw it was only at 11pm and I must say food, and view and my waiter was top notch but I need to bring this sad ending to everyones attention cause, its not cheap to have such a dinning experience and it would of been totally memorable but the blinds brought down and the uncomfortable taste it left me feeling , rather have one sitting and allow the guest to feel special through the whole night .
