Welcome to Utopia Cape Town, our 15th-floor home of Dining Elevated, with superb day and night views of our beautiful Cape Town. Choose a table with a City, Harbour, or Bo-Kaap view, an Instagrammers delight.


We offer Bistro-style Mediterranean-influenced dishes designed by Chef Jacques and his team, made with superb quality fresh ingredients and served in generous portions.

We offer a number of menus to meet the tastes and budgets of our diners.

*. Our Utopia À la Carte Menu has a large selection of superb shellfish and fish dishes, as well as flavoursome meat cuts, available daily.


Our waitron staff is able to advise you on the best wines to pair with your dishes. We have an excellent selection of wines, with a range of varietals and prices to suit all tastes and budgets. Our wines have been sourced from different terroirs, a number of them being five-star award-winning wines.

No children under 10 can accompany adults from 17h00 onwards. Smart Casual attire is advised.

    We celebrated my 80th birthday at Utopia and are very happy we did. Unbelievable everything the entire time from entry to exit was just so good. The staff assisted my wife with her walker and made sure she was comfortable the sirloin with honeyed vegetables dish we can recommend. Done to our individual taste (one well done and one medium rare) the dessert arrived with a happy 80th birthday wish in chocolate but the staff heard we are married 58 years in 5 days and on their own initiative brought us another dessert with happy 58th anniversary completely gratis as a gift from the staff. We will recommend Utopia to family and friends and we will be back

    We tried 3 different tapas dishes, one which was recommended by our awesome waiter , Eugene. All 3 were excellent. Great tasting & beautifully presented. Our mains were equally as delicious. We had the rump steak & the lemon garlic prawns. We highly recommend Utopia, & will definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

    I booked our event here without ever visiting the venue, as I live in the United States. Maria was wonderful to work with, and everything turned out perfectly. The food, drinks, staff, and views were all exceptional. Our group had a fantastic time. It was the perfect venue for our event, especially since many of our guests were visiting South Africa for the first time.
