Floor-to-ceiling windows frame majestic views of Table Mountain and a sculptural centrepiece above the bar symbolises the mythical tale of this natural wonder. Day-to-evening entertainment abounds and live music fills the air. From the kitchen, vibrant dishes showcase the flavours of the region, avant-garde Afternoon Tea is a cause for celebration, and masterfully crafted cocktails tempt the palate.

    The setting and food for the high tea was perfect. It was my partner’s birthday yesterday and they made it special. However, the service was shocking. Especially considering an establishment such as this. The waiting times after ordering were very long. No communication or follow ups from waiters.

    Beautiful well trained staff. Fresh food healthy and clean. The hotel has so much to offer definitely coming back for the spa and other restaurants with in. Safe for families. The canal is a hidden gem it’s a must see ❤️oh I can go on and on!

    Helpful, friendly staff. Good range of teas and food on “v” serving board varied and tasty. Let down by dry scones, average cake trolley, no range of coffees and the location itself - seating amongst other people in the bar and thoroughfare to the outside section.

    So an afternoon of enjoying high tea was marred because of serving staff lack of etiquette. The server we had was fine but other servers were having a fight amongst themselves. The 2 ladies, the 1 in particular with the spiral hair was loud and feisty with her co worker. For an establishment of your nature, most people want a nice meal without staff inefficiencies, would suggest to train your staff to do their jobs with grace and keep their personal issues out of the restaurant. The inefficiencies has made me rethink the quality of your establishment. No use having so many staff to serve and wait on patrons but then they make one wait upto 30 mins for a drink because they forgot. Training is needed.
