Floor-to-ceiling windows frame majestic views of Table Mountain and a sculptural centrepiece above the bar symbolises the mythical tale of this natural wonder.     The ambience, location, service and music was 5 star. The staff, particularly Rocky and Zoey, were outstanding. Unfortunately the food was extremely disappointing. There were far too many sweet options, some of which weren't very tasty, and not enough savoury options. No lovely tea sandwiches, no savoury pastries, no mini quiches. The scones were so crumbly that it made them almost impossible to eat. Having had the privilege of experiencing many High Teas all over the world I have to sadly rate this one as one of the worst.

    They served special savory according to my dietary restrictions but the tea options were limited. Sometimes they don’t have it even if it’s on the menu. I have asked for Assam tea and they brought puh arr Chinese tea.They need to learn more about tea.

    I was just very disappointed as it was my sister's birthday and I did inform our waiter. There were 2 other birthday celebrations as well. The other 2 birthday guest each got a special cupcake with a candle and not my sister. It just felt that she was not special enough that her birthday could be recognized but the other guest had a special moment. You cannot treat guest differently. Overall we had a great experience

    We went for the afternoon high tea and really enjoyed the overall experience. The sweet and savoury items were delicious, though the savoury selection was quite limited and didn’t have much of a wow factor. The ratio between sweet and savoury could be more balanced. Our waitress, Lungi, was excellent — friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive throughout. The venue was undergoing renovations during our visit, which did take away from the ambiance a little and made it somewhat noisy at times.
