Floor-to-ceiling windows frame majestic views of Table Mountain and a sculptural centrepiece above the bar symbolises the mythical tale of this natural wonder.     We celebrated my sister's 18th birthday with an Afternoon Tea treat on Saturday. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to make her day special. A special shout out to Zoey and the pianist who helped make her day special.

    My second time doing the high tea and this time the experience was levels beyond what it was the first time. Service AMAZING!! Staff super kind and super friendly. So so worth it🫶🏻

    1 star overall. I would not recommend this for afternoon tea for 3 reasons: (1) I had wanted my afternoon tea option to be vegan. They had no vegan options and told me I had to specify at least 24hrs before but this was not shown anywhere when I made the booking. This is unusual as other high teas I went to have vegan options by default or at least make you deliberately aware before to specify. They made no effort to try to accommodate me and the waitress disappeared forever after I said I would just do a la carte. I had to order a la carte and my non-vegan companions also did not do high tea in solidarity with me. (2) As mentioned above, the initial waitress left and never came back. Because we had an allocated waitress and she never returned we were completely ignored by other waitresses and managers for an hour while we chatted wirh empty table, glasses and plates. Had to repeatedly try get attention and eventually got someone who came over relucantly. (3) The pricing of the afternoon tea shown on the dineplan menu for this is way below what would be charged, so it seems at least 3 years or more old pricing and can be misleading. Very disappointing experience. We were seated near the coffee and bar area so it was not even like we were out of sight. Having said that the interior design/styling/ambience and a la carte food were good.
