    We celebrated my mum’s 82nd birthday over an Easter themed High Tea on 4/04/26. The entire experience was absolutely wonderful. The blend between savoury and sweet treats presented in a buffet was curated in a very innovative way. The staff were attentive and constantly on hand to assist and offer diners information on the various treats. Some people may feel that the cost of R695 per head is steep but the quality of the food, the fact that the meal was an unrestricted buffet and the relaxing ambiance made for a most wonderful experience.

    We attended the high tea. We booked it early, so on the day we went it was no longer something offered on Tuesdays. We still received what we came for, but as the only table having high tea, it felt a bit random. In terms of selection, I would prefer more savory

    Afternoon Tea. Our waiter Sukhele was great - he was stretched to cover all his tables though yet there were several greeters with seemingly little to do. The room was too cold however it is a very impressive are to sit in and the artwork is fantastic. There was not a clear menu of teas and coffees included in the price - should be on the afternoon tea menu. Too many sweet elements for me and not enough savoury - however this may suit others. Lemon tart was amazingly good.

    We had an amazing experience celebrating my birthday. From the warm welcome at the entrance, to our wonderful waitress Asanda who took such gracious care of us, and even the pastry chef who personally presented us with cake options, every detail was handled with professionalism and genuine attention. Asanda truly stood out. She explained everything clearly, anticipated our needs, and was always attentive without being intrusive. Her service made the experience even more special. Overall, it was a perfect 10/10 experience—nothing to fault at all
