Floor-to-ceiling windows frame majestic views of Table Mountain and a sculptural centrepiece above the bar symbolises the mythical tale of this natural wonder. Day-to-evening entertainment abounds and live music fills the air. From the kitchen, vibrant dishes showcase the flavours of the region, avant-garde Afternoon Tea is a cause for celebration, and masterfully crafted cocktails tempt the palate.

    Unfortunately my experience was so underwhelming. I was so looking forward to the afternoon tea but it fell felt. The bread was stale, another was burnt and not to mention finding hair in one of our items, was quite disappointing. The savoury dishes were really disappointing. And although the waiters and manager really tried their best to please us, they couldn’t fix what was poorly made in the kitchen. This whole experience was saved by the impeccable service and really tasty sweet treats. I really hope that they could up their game with the savoury items because for an establishment like theirs it should be a no brainer that everything would be served to perfection. The cakes on the other hand were absolutely delicious.

    My friend and I enjoyed afternoon tea and it was absolutely amazing. The scones and cakes were top tier. We even had the privilege of meeting the pastry chef, who personally presented the beautiful and delicious cakes to us, such a special touch. The staff were incredibly friendly and the service was impeccable throughout. Thank you for a truly lovely experience.
