Alto234 has a variety of experiences on offer, each at a different time of day to allow discerning guests to book and view the Johannesburg horizon at a time best suited to them.

Afternoon Experience – 13h00 to 16h00 – R390 pp

Sip on your favourite premium beverage perfectly paired with a selection of light bar tapas. Relax and take in the view of Johannesburg during the Afternoon Experience while the hustle and bustle of our city slows down to enjoy the fruits of their labour. Be sure to arrive early not to miss the full experience and end off by booking a table for an early dinner at the Pool deck on Floor 7 for an epicurean menu selection from AURUM Restaurant.

Sunset Experience – 16h30 to 18h30 – R390 pp

The perfect time to view the African sunset from an angle never-seen-before! The Sunset Experience offers the perfect time of day to view Johannesburg by day and the city lights by night. A premium beverage along with a perfectly crafted light bar tapas plate will set the tone for a moment you will never forget! Be sure to arrive early not to miss the full experience and end off by booking a table for dinner at Aurum Restaurant.

Night Lights Experience – From 19:00-23:00 R390pp

An unforgettable view of the city lights at night is the ultimate experience. There is no better way to see the best of
Johannesburg whilst snacking on light bar tapas perfectly suited to a glass of premium champagne. Be sure to arrive
early not to miss the full experience and why not spend a luxurious night at The Leonardo.

    It was a blessed moment the rain began when we arrived at Alto234 and still enjoyed it. The team were very attention apologizing due to the suddenly change of the weather, giving suggestions or being able to cancel but we're feeling very welcome and blessed. Then we move to 45 floor due to the intense rain and got good service. The customer service is excellent at all. My kids liked too, the professional level of your service. It was one of the greatest birthday I've had in my life and seeing my kids happy is automatically my happiness too. Also got prompt confirmation to change the night view for future date, it was amazing. Congratulations to the Alto234 excellent team service. The excellent service start on the car arrived on the build, the reception wow immediately answer and the Alto234 team top of excellent level service. Thank you for the greatest moment. VChival

    We celebrated my son’s 18th birthday drinks at Alto234 on Friday evening and it was truly a memorable experience. The views are absolutely breathtaking - there’s nothing quite like watching the sunset over Johannesburg from that height. The atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed, making it perfect for such a special milestone. A special thank you to Siyasanga, Alfred, and Justin—these gentlemen treated the boys like royalty and really made the celebration feel extra special. Their warmth and attentiveness did not go unnoticed. While much of the experience was exceptional, there is room for improvement in management. Tshepo, as floor manager, was great in parts, but unfortunately the 20% where the approach fell short did leave a slightly sour taste - especially as a paying client. It’s always possible to say no in a way that still makes guests feel respected and valued. Overall, it was a beautiful and memorable evening, and my son loved every minute of it. Thank you, Alto234, for helping us celebrate such an important occasion.
