One of the highlights of Hotel Sky Sandton, our beautiful Eclipse Restaurant is a must-see. Located on the fifth floor of our establishment, the delicious Eclipse menu is complimented by unparalleled views of Sandton. Eclipse offers elegant dining and can seat up to 240 people and includes an amazing bar area and an open terrace.

The restaurant is open to both hotel guests and visitors, and offers a’la carte dinners with live entertainment on select evenings. BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL.

Eclipse is open on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 12h00 and Friday and Saturday from 18h00.

    I was not impressed with the service we received. We waited a very long time, and everything felt rushed. I ordered my starter, main, and dessert at the same time, yet people who arrived long after we did were served and eating before us, which made us feel forgotten. We were also not informed that dessert could be served after the show. Although we did eventually have dessert after the show, I was told then that the cheesecake I had ordered earlier (around 18:00) was no longer available. This was disappointing, as this was the reason I placed all 3 orders together.

    Starters of the lamb and mash balls was a bit bland, the lamb Shank was overly salty, the Salmon was very good cooked nicely and for my first time trying oysters was ok.

    The sides were cold. It took way too long to prepare to be given cold chips. Some dishes were delicious others not.

    It was terrible. They made us pay a deposit to book, but moved us from the where we booked and put us at a bar table. Kept forgetting about us. After complaining to the “manager” we thought they would get our food, but seemed to have forgotten about that too, so eventually I was standing over the kitchen staff telling them what to do. Some of the food was cold, some was wrong. It’s just crazy at how terrible it was and it just kept getting worse and the so called manager was just useless.

    It was my grandson’s 10th birthday celebration which he thoroughly enjoyed! Incredible live music, iconic sunset and outstanding service!
