Owned and run by husband and wife team Alex & Eloise Windebank, the couple have restored a historic Victorian terraced house in Cape Town's Gardens neighbourhood to home their restaurant. Featuring a cocktail bar, an open kitchen & upstairs dining rooms, Farro invites guests to enjoy a refined dining experience in a timeless setting.

    Outstanding evening at Farro. Incredible menu - presented beautifully and mouth-wateringly delicious! We trusted their wine pairings thankfully and enjoyed the playlist. Service was warm, friendly and professional and we felt very lucky to have experienced the view of Table Mountain from where we sat having pre dinner drinks on the balcony.

    Farro did not meet up to our expectations . The small house in gardens is lovely although we missed the view on table mountains as the window was blurred . The staff was trying their best but could not serve us a gin tonic as there was no tonic in the bar . We had a five course menu of which the starters ; bread - beignet and pickles were great , the courses after were mediocre and did not blow us away with taste unfortunately. With all the great high level restaurants in and around Capetown Farro needs to make a step .. I think they are able too .
