    I used to love Fireroom Montecasino, but the quality has steadily gone downhill. After a previous bad experience, we decided to give them another try—but it was a complete disappointment, and we will not be returning. The service was abysmal. It took 45 minutes just to get our first round of drinks, despite speaking to both the waiter and the manager twice. When the drinks did arrive, the hot drinks were served cold, and the order was incomplete. Furthermore, the food quality was well below the standard we used to expect here. The most frustrating part was how they handled a birthday celebration. We had pre-arranged with the manager to bring out a birthday cake with candles. Instead, they brought the cake to our table still wrapped in plastic, exactly as I had brought it in, with the candles still sitting in the bag.It was an embarrassing and severely mismanaged experience, and I will no longer recommend Fireroom Montecasino to anyone.

    My experience at Fireroom was generally positive. The service was excellent and attentive throughout the evening. However, the steak was served cold, which detracted from the meal. While the overall experience was good, it did not fully meet the expectations I had based on the restaurant’s reputation. Our order consisted of one starter, one cocktail, one beer, and two main courses, totaling R1,300. The price was reasonable, though I had anticipated a higher standard given the reviews.

    We are never dissapointed on their quality of food and service! On the pricey side and unfortunately the toilet floor and around the basin was wet and I would reccoment them just to give it a swipe from time to time
