    I wish the springbok carpaccio looked like the photograph our server showed us. Visually it was a bit of a letdown, but it still tasted great

    We had a sister's reunion and visited FireRoom @Castle Gate on the 21st of October 2025. We ordered Something Nyama , Baby Chicken with fries, Bang Bang Chicken and two other dishes , can't remember the names. In overall, their dishes were just pleasant , very fresh and warm. Above all, the staff was quite welcoming and friendly. 5 GIANT stars to Yvonne (our waitress), thank you for making us feel valued and comfortable. Keep up the good work. Will definitely revisit FireRoom @Castle Gate again.

    Everything about the day was great, the food was delicious, the organisation meticulous, the ambiance was out of this world. Out of the 13 people I had booked for not even one complained. From Sushi, flamed tuna, the Kingklip Thermidor, to the sirloin stakes, grilled chicken breasts, something nyama and pork ribs, all the meals were cooked to perfection. I will definitely recommend having a small birthday party at FR, it just makes sense. The price is reasonable too!
