Here at the Greek Fisherman, we are proud of our roots, so expect traditional Greek and Mediterranean dishes. But, we also believe in moving with the times, so weve added a modern twist to our otherwise classic menu.

Our cuisine includes Greek & Seafood specialities and we are famous for our Greek Meze, our Souvla (spit roast) and our stunning lamb in the oven. choose from over 20 Meze, starters and tapas!

The Greek Fisherman is now located in Sea Point, Cape Town. It was established in 1992 (originally at the V&A Waterfront), and is still owned, and run hands-on, by the same family.

Take a seat and get a glorious view of Table Mountain while you enjoy delicious seafood and meats grilled over open charcoals.

    Must be honest my family & I was sadly disappointed at our meals & I've been looking forward to dining here for a while. The Seafood Platters were very average, not great value for money.. the fish was dry & stiff. Didn't enjoy the tomotoe sauce over the muscles, think a lovely garlic butter white sauce would've been better. Can't fault the setting , really beautiful & lovely relaxing ambiance.

    Hi Rameeza, I’m so disappointed to read this review as this is not our usual standard. I did discuss this with the manager on duty, Victor and he says he personally checked on your table and the response was that everything was fine- no one mentioned the fish being dry which is a pity as we would have loved the opportunity to replace it. Our mussels are made Greek style with tomato and feta which is perhaps not to your taste buds. I apologise if that was not explained to you. We do hope you’ll give us another chance

    Opa! Authentic Greek Goodness This Cape Town gem been serving up authentic Greek cuisine for over 20 years, and it's clear why it's a favorite among locals and visitors alike! With dishes that are both tasty and value for money, it's no wonder it's considered one of the best Greek restaurants in the city. If you're craving souvlaki, moussaka, or a traditional Greek salad, this spot is a must-visit. The fact that it's been around for over two decades speaks volumes about its consistency and quality.

    Excellent food and sad about the service. We were inside and we did not given much attention. After the plates from the starters were taken it took more than 30 minutes for the main course to arrive. At no stage anyone waiters or management ask for any comments re the food or drink.
