Outstanding food. Service and waiter's knowledge of each course was extensive. Meals were on the more expensive side but worth every penny! We will most definitely be back.

    - Winter special advertised in Inside Guide (valid until end of Aug) but not offered in restaurant, waitress said " they just finished it" - really? on July 26? - Waited for a glass of wine over 15 min - dinner was almost done by then - waited for invoice for over 15 min - worst of all: The steak was very tough, extremly chewy meat - for the reputation Grub & Vine supposed to have, very bad - Boring starter - Annoying music that was repeated all evening. - we will not be back

The food was delicious and each course well presented and full of wonder. Our dessert was a bit disappointing, but after a banger of a meal it was forgivable. The ambience was lacking and the restaurant quite empty - which makes one wonder why nobody else is dining there. Winter is probably the excuse ... Last note: The Oxtail was so yummy, we'd go back only for that!

Lovely experience for lunch with the Winter special - starter, three plates and a glass of wine incuded. The course Pinot Noir is outstanding. The choice of courses is extensive and some quite complicated. I would have like more time and explanation before deciding. Our waiter, Gary, was good at wine, but did not explain the food when brought. The mussels were excellent as was my guests hanger steak.

Food was generic tasting menu fare with little to distinguish it. Service was lethargic, courses were served out of the set menu order. Great ambience, but I wouldn't recommend the tasting menu.

Jason was very attentive and looked after us while the waitress was MIA.
