With arguably the best view overlooking the Franschhoek Wine Valley, dining with us at Haute Cabrière is as beautiful as it is delicious.

As with our approach to wine, our food philosophy centres on moments to be enjoyed together.
We believe that coming together around the table, as family always has, is a celebration of life, stories, togetherness and of course, wonderful food and wine.

Join us as part of our family and eat, drink and chat on our sun-soaked restaurant terrace in Franschhoek. Our menus are inspired by classic French dishes with a twist – combining local ingredients and the von Arnim family’s love of innovation.

    This restaurant has the best views in the entire Franschhoek - The food is of a superior quality and truly fine dining - Host Dorothy made sure we were accommodated in more ways than one - Waier Kaylene was attentive, yet never intrusive -The winelist is of the wine produced by the estate - The ambiance is trendy and the property highly recommendable.

    We really enjoyed everything here, our waitress was very sweet as well. The only negative was after my husband had his second glass of wine he didn’t like and he just asked for it to be taken away (we did NOT ask for it to be refunded), the manager came over and rudely told us they don’t do tastings and if we didn’t drink it then our waitress would have to pay for it. That is insane. Simply because you don’t like something the waitress should not be responsible!

    Joey was our server and she was amazing. She was attentive and suggested wines that would go with our food that were different to the menu. The food was excellent, far exceeded expectations. The beef short rib and the kudu were the standouts. Thank you for creating such a memorable dining experience.

    The waitress got the order wrong, the food was average particularly when compared to other top restaurants in Franschoek.
