    The food was good , i enjoyed it There was a delay to seat us and after we finally sat , then waitresses were not attending to us, w had to call on them to serve us.... Beautiful restaurant though, loved it , will definitely come again

    My family and I visited Kraal Restaurant for Mother’s Day, and unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences we have ever had. If I had known the experience would be this disappointing, I would have chosen another restaurant for my mother. It completely ruined what was meant to be a special and memorable day for our family. We arrived on time for our booking, yet our table was not ready or properly allocated. What made the situation even more frustrating was seeing guests who arrived after us being seated first while we continued waiting. From the beginning, we felt overlooked, ignored, and poorly treated compared to other guests. As we observed the service around us, other tables were welcomed with water, juice, and bread almost immediately, yet none of this was provided to our table. We had to repeatedly ask the waiter for water ourselves, and it only arrived nearly an hour after we had been seated. The bread, which formed part of the package we had already paid for, never arrived at all. We also informed the waitress from the start that we do not drink alcohol and requested a non-alcoholic table juice. Despite this simple request, she still brought the alcoholic option. The issue was only corrected after my brother escalated the matter to the manager. The food itself was extremely disappointing and not worth the amount charged. The lamb curry tasted as though it had not been freshly prepared and was overloaded with coriander to the point where the flavour of the lamb was completely lost. The cheesecake was burnt and unpleasant to eat. Service throughout the afternoon was unacceptable. Our table did not even have cutlery when the food arrived, and I eventually started eating with my hands because the food was getting cold while we waited. When I asked another waitress for cutlery, she acknowledged me but never returned. Management was hardly visible, and the entire experience felt disorganized and poorly managed. It is unacceptable t

    The experience was really underwhelming. Our waiter seemed to have had a lot going on for her, as such our table was neglected. In the entire experience, the dessert was the best, flavorful and presented well.
