A family run italian trattoria well loved since 1996. Locals and out-of towners refer to it as “a little piece of Italy”. Casa Nostra means Our home and it truly is a home away from home dining experience. Choose our quaint Al fresco courtyard to escape to Italy or our red bricked intimate dining room which spills out to the Marine Walk courtyard where families can enjoy the centre whilst having something delicious prepared by our team

    The main dining area lacks ambiance. It needs something like photos of Italy - or photos of Nona making food. I find the middle section too clinical. Love the back courtyard section. Very romanic

    La Casa Nostra will always be one of my favourite restaurants in Durban. After the relocation, it seemed to lose a little of that special feeling that made it feel like a true home away from home. However, I’m delighted to see Alessandro back — he has always been an important part of the La Casa Nostra experience. His warmth, personality, and genuine hospitality bring back that welcoming atmosphere that made so many of us fall in love with this restaurant in the first place. Combined with the excellent food and authentic dining experience, it once again feels like coming home. Wishing Alessandro and the entire team continued success. Keep up the great work! 🍷🍝🇮🇹
