Level Four Restaurant at 54 on Bath in Rosebank, offers guests distinctive fine dining in Johannesburg. With a menu combining classic cuisine and contemporary influences, together with the restaurant’s bold signature style and distinctive flair, ensures a memorable culinary experience.

Lunch and dinner can be enjoyed in the elegant surroundings of our restaurant, or on the sunny outdoor terrace. Whether a business lunch, a relaxed dinner, or a celebratory event, every meal at Level Four is an occasion. We are proud that our restaurant is regarded as one of the best fine dining destinations in Johannesburg.

The Level Four experience includes an exquisite High Tea every Saturday from 13h30 to 16h30. Enjoy a selection of expertly crafted sweet and savory treats , from the classic to the eclectic, in our elegant surrounds. Indulge in a complimentary glass of sparkling wine upon arrival, and relax to the sounds of live entertainment.

On weekdays, Afternoon Tea is served from 14h30 to 16h30. Enjoy classic English sandwiches, freshly baked scones, French inspired pastries, and premium loose-leaf tea from TWG.

Our Chef's Table offering serves a decadent 9-course menu from Executive Chef Donaldson Madubela and the Level Four kitchen brigade. This table is situated in the kitchen, and has a view of all the action taking place during service. Chef and our sommelier will be at hand to guide diners through the experience. Paired wine option is also be available.

The refined Perrier-Jouët Champagne Bar offers a uniquely styled signature champagne range. Overlooking the terrace garden, the champagne bar is the perfect meeting spot for pre-dinner drinks and evening sundowners in Johannesburg.

    Dear 54 On Bath, High Tea Personnel, (Sat 14/03/2026) My friend Jackie and I were greeted by Will, the pianist at the lifts, he showed us up to the 4th floor, we were welcomed, seated, gifted a glass of non-alcoholic champagne, we walked around the gardens, we were called in to find our table spread in the most beautiful way with such delights and treats and spoils we felt like kids in a candy store, we were amazed we were in awe. The explanations of what we was presented to us, the showing us how to make our tea, the food we ate for hours, at our leisure, the music that Will was playing that we delightfully sang along to, our plates made up with Happy Birthday Jackie and Melisa were so personalised and intricately made, we were so happy, we had tears of joy at our experience, we loved it, we rave about it, we felt truly like princesses. We want to thank you all as well as the chefs that put our day together so carefully with such care and attention to detail. And even our left over containers made up with our names and a little heart drawn on our take aways. Thank you so very very much for everyone involved, in making our day, one of the most memorable days we will carry in our hearts for a life time! Much love and gratitude, Melisa and Jackie.

    If you are looking for a perfect experience for a special occasion look no further than Level Four and specifically the Chef's Table!!! What an experience from start to finish. The team was absolutely amazing and make you feel like a million dollars. The food was NEXT LEVEL - every serving was unique and introduced by each chef with their passion and creativity on the plate in front of you. Definately do this, you won't be sorry!!!!

    The High Tea was excellent! My daughter and her friends enjoyed the entire experience. The food was delicious and laid out appealingly. Most of the staff were personable and willing to go the extra mile except for one waiter that was upset at them ordering still water. All of us look forward to go to celebrating at Level Four 54 on Bath again!

    We had a superb evening! The food was delicious and the service was outstanding! The cherry on top of a fabulous evening was the performance by one of our favourite Artists - Louise Carver! The only reason I marked the location at a 3 is that we wouldn't usually go that far from where we live for a meal, but it was definitely worth it for this very special occasion!

    Very lovely Valentines celebration! Really good food but the service was a little average as I think the server was learning or had too many tables. The gifts were a nice surprise and soothed the pricey tag and the setting was as expected and very nice indeed! The singing and music was not ideally well balanced and perhaps the acoustics in the room did not help! It was too loud at times and also it always felt as there was too much bass amplified. I think the sound engineer battled in the room somewhat, but it was a nice idea and a good artist who sang some great love songs, which were appropriate for a fine celebration! Thanks
