LUPA Osteria is a bustling Italian restaurant serving authentic food in a warm and inviting setting . Whether you want a delicious bowl of pasta on a random Tuesday, country fresh salad, wood-oven baked pizza or a big celebration dinner with friends, LUPA offers all this and more.

We pride ourselves in staying true to our Italian roots and in keeping traditional Roman cuisine alive. Each Lupa has a designated pasta making & drying room where our fresh pasta is hand-made daily. A wood fired pizza oven is used for truly authentic pizzas and for baking many other traditional dishes for that extra flavour and authenticity.

Our wines list is extensive and offers a great selection of local and imported wine, beer and spirits to accompany your food or have a beautiful cocktail at aperitivo hour!

    Lupa has always been one of our favourite restaurants in the Southern Suburbs of Jhb and Alberton. Exceptional food, at an affordable price. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and its different dining areas cater for all occasions. The unfortunate sudden change in staff unfortunately had an impact on service delivery, but I am sure that with competent leadership this will soon be something of the past. Jacques remains a committed and competent leader. It is a pity that he has to also from time to time need a break. LOL!

    Still one of the best places in the South. Food is outstanding and even with the place being very busy, the service was super fast

    I visit Lupa Osteria Meyersdal a lot with the wife but this time I thought my team would enjoy the place.. and trust me when I say they loved everything about the place.. we’ll be going back there soon for our next team outing
