    Fantastic evening dinner on May 10,2024. I gad a succulent Filet cooked perfectly and my wife had the gnocchi. Complimented with some great service and fine South African wine - the evening was complete.

    Table of 4 and the only patrons. Ordered 2 portions of mussels and 2 steak dishes. The fillet was good, ribeye missed the mark both in taste and prep. Manager/owner did pop by the table and they did try to make amends. 1 of 2 mussels was good, the other dry. Waitress fussed and service was quite intrusive. All in all won’t be rushing back.

    Had Carpaccio as a starter. Never had such as small portion and the taste was prong. My main, a fishcurry was ok so far. Strangely the fish was battered. Looked a bit like made from leftovers. I like it as it was on Kloofstreet, but after moving to Kloofnek we tried it twice, both times completed food disappointed. Party of three, we all thought the same.

    Disgusting ablution facilities.

    This is actually pathetic that you mention terrible ablution facilities but were unable to tell me what was wrong on emails or when you were here and I asked you if everything was fine You went hiding in front of your screen to write reviews on all possible channels but yet, no constructive feedback for me to attend to. Freshly painted walls, new toilets seat, cleaned twice a day. All you could tell me is that we can't fix it, we ruined your morning. Looking at your other reviews on different platforms, I see the pattern and i am glad the problem doesn't come from the state of my toilets. That is very sad.
