Setup, owned and run by the legendary Goncalves brothers, Victor and Naldo, NV-80 is the connection to years of dedication to industry and craft. An ode to the classic grill houses of yesteryear, NV-80 is a nod to a bygone era of real service, exceptional food and a classic yet contemporary dining aesthetic.

Serving beautiful steaks, seafood, salads and a wide array of starters, sides and specials, NV-80 has something for everyone. Over the years NV-80 has become a staple with locals and tourists and has earned NV-80 a reputation as a Cape Town institution. Bought in 2022 by NoName Hospitality Group and partners with the aim of honouring the brands legacy while adding value for a loyal customer base.     NV8 is my favorite restaurant ! It never disappoints me on every level from food to atmosphere! The staff are exceptionally freindly and attentive.I tried the salmon last night and it was deliscious with crispy Juliene vegetables with a hint of ginger, superb!

    Went on a Monday, not very crowded, the server that was serving us disappeared. We flagged over what seemed like a supervisor and said where did our waiter go? He said that since it wasn’t busy they let some employees go home and that he would wait on us, I totally get that….However it would have been nice once they let our server go home to let us know when it happened instead of having us take the initiative. Food was great.
