Serving beautiful steaks, seafood, salads and a wide array of starters, sides and specials, NV-80 has something for everyone. Over the years NV-80 has become a staple with locals and tourists and has earned NV-80 a reputation as a Cape Town institution. Bought in 2022 by NoName Hospitality Group and partners with the aim of honouring the brands legacy while adding value for a loyal customer base.     I reserved the private room for my husband’s birthday, with the understanding that it would be exclusive to our group and no other guests would enter. Unfortunately, this was not properly managed. The manager and waiter did not maintain control of the space, and I had to repeatedly get up to ask them to either lock the door or place a sign outside. It took several reminders before any action was taken. Considering the amount I spent, I expected a much higher standard of service. Regrettably, the experience did not meet those expectations.

    I’m a big snob for great food irrespective of price. We did the tasting experience and were blown away. From the starters to the dessert- exceptional food and even better service. Will definitely be back soon!

    Best Steak in town. Satisfied as always. For me one of my 3 favorite restaurants in Cape Town. We will be back.
