Setup, owned and run by the legendary Goncalves brothers, Victor and Naldo, NV-80 is the connection to years of dedication to industry and craft. An ode to the classic grill houses of yesteryear, NV-80 is a nod to a bygone era of real service, exceptional food and a classic yet contemporary dining aesthetic.

Serving beautiful steaks, seafood, salads and a wide array of starters, sides and specials, NV-80 has something for everyone. Over the years NV-80 has become a staple with locals and tourists and has earned NV-80 a reputation as a Cape Town institution. Bought in 2022 by NoName Hospitality Group and partners with the aim of honouring the brands legacy while adding value for a loyal customer base.     NV-80 certainly lives up to their reputation as one of the best steakhouses in Cape Town, by combining excellent steaks and side dishes with excellent service.

    NV8 is my favorite restaurant ! It never disappoints me on every level from food to atmosphere! The staff are exceptionally freindly and attentive.I tried the salmon last night and it was deliscious with crispy Juliene vegetables with a hint of ginger, superb!
