Setup, owned and run by the legendary Goncalves brothers, Victor and Naldo, NV-80 is the connection to years of dedication to industry and craft. An ode to the classic grill houses of yesteryear, NV-80 is a nod to a bygone era of real service, exceptional food and a classic yet contemporary dining aesthetic.

Serving beautiful steaks, seafood, salads and a wide array of starters, sides and specials, NV-80 has something for everyone. Over the years NV-80 has become a staple with locals and tourists and has earned NV-80 a reputation as a Cape Town institution. Bought in 2022 by NoName Hospitality Group and partners with the aim of honouring the brands legacy while adding value for a loyal customer base. NoName Hospitality Group intends to build on the brands reputation for quality product and service as well strive to uphold the incredible standards and time honoured traditions instilled by the brothers.     I'M NOT INTO MEAT BUT WHEN I FEEL LIKE A NICE STEAK FILLET, IT CAN ONLY BE AT NV80. THEY SATISFY MY TASTE BUDS AT ALL TIMES. MY FILLET NORMALLY COMES WITH ORION RINGS, SWEET POTATOES & CREAM SPINICH. WAITERS AT ALL TIMES FRIENDY & SMILING. KEEP IT UP GUYS.

    The waiter who was supposed to assist us disappeared after giving us complimentary bread, another had to jump in and assist. Ordered our food, (rib eye steak with prawns and a lamb shank) ,both my partner and I woke up with a very sharp pain in the stomach and we have been in and out the bathroom. I am never going back there

    Good food, ambiance and service. Prawns easily came out of their shells but could be more tasty.
