Bought in 2022 by NoName Hospitality Group and partners with the aim of honouring the brands legacy while adding value for a loyal customer base.     An excellent night at NV-80. We had the tasting menu which included paired wines. Eveerything was well presented and the tastes were fantastic. The menu included Oysters, one which was in a vietnamese dressing and was just lovely. Then sauteed prawns. The flame grilled rib eye was cooked perfectly for both of us, one medium rare and one medium and we each had one of the sides - roast vegetables or chips so we could share them. It was plenty. Then a very tasty chocolate fondant to finish. Each dish was explained to us, alongside the paried wine. Service was spot on and it was a very enjoyable evening

    I tried the tasting menu. There was nothing wow about the food, the suete prawns had no flavour and needed salt and they could have fried them first to add flavour instead of boiling them. The steak was okay nothing wow I make a better one. I honestly thought as a restaurant that regards itself fine dining I would taste flavour but I was left underwhelmed. The only thing about this menu which was nice were the wine pairing.

    My wife ordered Chateaubriand. While the meat was well cooked it just came as a lump of meat. When trying to slice the lump of meat it slipped and my wife ended up with sauce all over her sweater. It spoilt the evening and I believe that the chef should slice the meat before it reaches the table. Also Chateaubriand should be cooked at the table as I have experienced elsewhere.

    I'M NOT INTO MEAT BUT WHEN I FEEL LIKE A NICE STEAK FILLET, IT CAN ONLY BE AT NV80. THEY SATISFY MY TASTE BUDS AT ALL TIMES. MY FILLET NORMALLY COMES WITH ORION RINGS, SWEET POTATOES & CREAM SPINICH. WAITERS AT ALL TIMES FRIENDY & SMILING. KEEP IT UP GUYS.

    The waiter who was supposed to assist us disappeared after giving us complimentary bread, another had to jump in and assist. Ordered our food, (rib eye steak with prawns and a lamb shank) ,both my partner and I woke up with a very sharp pain in the stomach and we have been in and out the bathroom. I am never going back there

    Good food, ambiance and service. Prawns easily came out of their shells but could be more tasty.
