Setup, owned and run by the legendary Goncalves brothers, Victor and Naldo, NV-80 is the connection to years of dedication to industry and craft. Bought in 2022 by NoName Hospitality Group and partners with the aim of honouring the brands legacy while adding value for a loyal customer base.     We really like the place. We love the mussels as starters. Service was excellent. It's a little pricy but worth it.

    We’ve had lots of great food in Cape Town but I’d say this was probably the best! Food was fantastic, we had the teriyaki salmon with mash and king prawns. Both were generous in portion size, perfectly cooked and well presented. Service was top notch, attentive and a good pace.

    Beautiful decorated restaurant. Meat was really good. Good taste of beef, the chard enhances the flavours. And the meat was very tender. Service could use alittlebit more of a personal touch.

    We recently held our awards function, and I must say the food was on another level — truly impressive in both quality and presentation. However, the starters and main course were served one after the other without much pause, which affected the overall dining experience. In terms of value, I feel the establishment and its pricing are well aligned. That said, the service level fell short of expectations and was far from excellent. To improve service, the establishment could consider: - Better pacing of courses to allow guests time to enjoy each dish. - More attentive staff presence, ensuring guests feel looked after throughout the event. - Training staff on guest engagement, so the service matches the high standard of the food. (This is Non-Existent)
