The Piatto Restaurant and Grill story began in 2001 when the founder, Michael Yiallouris opened the first Piatto in Eastgate Shopping Centre. Today Piatto has grown to 15 stores across South Africa and we are planning to open many more.

At Piatto we are proud to offer you an exceptional experience with efficient service and quality. We focus on providing great value for money in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our menu boasts a huge variety of dishes and our food caters to all palettes.

Piatto is renowned for unsurpassed quality and diversity.     Waitress took too long to serve us drinks. Customers who came after us were served the same time as whereas we waited for more than 20 minutes while these customers just waited less than 5 minutes. Piatto waitress and waiters needs prioritize first time first serve system.

    I had an amazing experience last night at Piatto Eastgate! The food was delicious on my side unfortunately my girlfriend didn’t like the wings, but the service was top-notch, especially Lizzy who provided phenomenal service.I highly recommend her.

    We had an amazing time, though service was a bit slow due to last Saturday of the month however from being seated till we left the experience was amazing
