    Why wouldn’t you offer water for free? Other buffets that we’ve been to offer water or a juice option. You can’t expect people to pay for drinks separately, that’s daylight robbery

    Overall, the experience was good, but there was nothing that really made us say “wow.” The prawns were presented and served exceptionally well. However, I did feel they could have had a little more spice, and I had to ask the chef to add more. We felt the same about the lamb chops — they could have done with a bit more seasoning. My husband felt that the steak was quite dry and tough, which was disappointing. The malva pudding was also not what we expected. It was more like a chocolate cake with chocolate sauce on top, rather than the traditional malva pudding we are accustomed to. I also feel that the table setting and seating arrangement could have been better. As a couple, we didn't have a particularly comfortable view, as we were seated in a position where larger groups were facing directly towards us. It made us feel a little uncomfortable, almost as though we were being watched while eating. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but there are definitely a few areas that could be improved to make the dining experience feel more special and memorable.
