Voted the Best Restaurant in Camps Bay according to TripAdvisor 2014, The Hussar Grill Camps Bay is situated in one of Cape Town’s most beautiful and glamorous locations, with outstanding views that only Camps Bay can offer. Slightly bigger than most other Hussar Grills, it offers a distinct dining experience in a setting that is reminiscent of old-school dining complete with dark wood finishings, banquet-style seating and wooden wine crates. In winter a fireplace adds to the relaxed, cozy ambience.

    3 guests chose the Mother’s Day menu, 2 chose burgers and one chose full calamari. Very impressed. The complimentary chocolate vodka is a lovely touch at the end of our meals. Thank you.

    Excellent food cooked to perfection. Even it being full we did not wait long for our order. The only small negative was removing of finished plates and cans from the table. Other than that a very pleasant and enjoyable lunch... Thank you!!!

    I’m normally a big fan of Hussar Grill, but our visit was terrible. After placing our order we waited 1hr for our food, seeing tables that arrived after us eat and leave. When the food arrived the steaks were cold. We sent the food back and were brought new steaks. When the steaks came, I was brought the wrong cut (Rump instead of Fillet). Third time lucky? Nope. When the Fillet came it was raw instead of medium rare. I know when you guys get it right, the food and service is great but you got it very wrong. Ruined Mothers Day.
