    First impressions was arrival at the premises. Security Guard at the gate was not very welcoming. Views were amazing though but I think was let done by the quality of the food and portion sizes. It was a French themed lunch for Bastille day, but food was off the mark. The 5 mussels on a plate topped with a bit of cream was not up to scratch presentation was lacking and was a bit on the tough side. The portion of baby sole for main meal was around 100g - not enough food and plating was not the quality for a fine dining establishment - nothing special about the meal. Desert was good. I walked away from what was to be a special occasion somewhat let down and ripped off. I so much wanted it to be good, but not sure I can recommend it.

    The service was outstanding. Our waiter Andile was attentive and knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations. The combination of delicious food, outstanding service, and a welcoming ambiance made for an unforgettable dining experience.

    Please print menus . It is really awful to have to download the menu on ones phone. When I come out to dinner, I don't want to see anyone's phone. I leave mine at home. I really think you need to have printed menus

    "Father's Day lunch at Northcliff was very nice! From the warm welcome at reception to the exceptional service, faultless The bread service and prawn starter were both highlights, and the boys devoured their T-bone steaks. My fish dish was cooked to perfection - tender and full of flavor. The only wait was for dessert, but it was worth it! The Tipsy Tart's extra baking time paid off, earning a huge thumbs up from our table. My brownie was enjoyable too. The live music added a sophisticated touch, creating a wonderful ambiance. Overall, a great experience - well done, Northcliff team!" This version maintains your positive tone and highlights the strengths of your dining experience.

    Beautiful setting. Stunning sunset led into an amazing view of the night sky and city lights. Food was delicious and the wine pairing went really well. A real special experience.

    The warm reception at arrival all the way through to restaurant was fantastic. The view adds a great memorable evening along with the prompt caring & warm service. Our waitress was on top of everything and then the food was fantastic and beautifully displayed dish. Compliments to the chef Highly recommend for a special evening.
