Morii at The Vineyard Hotel offers an Italian-inspired dining experience shaped by Cape Town’s seasons, produce and sense of place. The name Morii speaks to the desire to hold onto fleeting, beautiful moments, which is exactly what the restaurant celebrates through handmade pastas, slow-proved breads, house made charcuterie and cold-fermented wood-fired pizzas. Fresh, ingredient-led dishes offer familiar comfort with a lighter, expressive touch, from a reimagined Caprese to a deeply comforting tiramisu.

The drinks program is crafted with the same attention to balance and enjoyment. The wine list brings together Italian expressions and Cape favourites chosen for character and terroir. The cocktail menu centers on the Negroni, offered in thoughtful regional interpretations, alongside lighter spritzes and classic digestives including grappa and limoncello.

    We had a lovely family gathering here and the team went out of their way to make it special. Thank you. The hotel and setting are incredible and matched equally in terms of food, drinks and service 10/10

    A truly marvellous family dinner last evening. The line fish, polenta, spinach dishes were delicious and the service most friendly and efficient.

    Poor food, we can only compare to two years ago but it’s nowhere as good!
