The Wild Fig Restaurant is a fully licensed Restaurant and Bar situated on a portion of the historic Valkenburg Estate. Our bar is situated in the original barn which is a National Monument. We have beautiful outdoor seating areas as well as private dining areas. We cater for all manner of events such as functions, conference, weddings, cocktail functions, breakfasts and celebrations.

    All food and service was great. Duck was awesome but camembert starter could have been a little Hotter Cheese hadn't melted. Otherwise a great evening was had by all in our party.

    Could be more vegetables with roast duck or as in the past ,one dish at the table to share Otherwise excellent. Service could be improved.We had a long wait for our order.That did not matter but we had to ask the waiter for bread roll and butter.This should be ALWAYS presented.There was no evidence of a manager or maitre d circulating.

    My 70th birthday lunch yesterday was fantastic. Everyone commented on how good the food was as well as the unique private venue. The staff were great especially Emmanuel and Lilly who looked after us so well.
