Your Hosts - Matteo Santini & Maurizio Carlo. These Two where born and raised in Italy. Matteo In the Beautiful Bolognia and Maurizio in Fiery Florence. They have both Traveled the world for the past 10 years and Finally decided to Settle in our beautiful Cape Town. Together have taken over THE WOODLANDS EATERY as of the 01 June 2017.

They strive to incorporate authentic Italian cuisine combined with the delicious existing local flavors. We welcome you into their home and hope that you enjoy and feel part of the famiglia

    We hosted a Christmas lunch with customers and we had a wonderful time. Great service and amazing pizzas. Thanks for a wonderful lunch.

    Another unforgettable evening at Matteo and Maurizio's Italian haven in Cape Town—our absolute favorite pizza spot! Matteo and his incredible team never disappoint, whipping up an enticing array of pizzas bursting with vibrant, fresh ingredients and crafted to absolute perfection.     Oh! What a pleasant surprise the pairing experience was. Nothing stiff and formal - though the standard of the food is that high: could be served as very formal dining. Yet we were treated like family - with an excellent chef as the bonus for festivity. Do yourself the favour: book the pairing experience. Well thought through menu, well prepared, different wines… what more do you need?
