Your Hosts - Matteo Santini & Maurizio Carlo. These Two where born and raised in Italy. Matteo In the Beautiful Bolognia and Maurizio in Fiery Florence. They have both Traveled the world for the past 10 years and Finally decided to Settle in our beautiful Cape Town. Together have taken over THE WOODLANDS EATERY as of the 01 June 2017.

They strive to incorporate authentic Italian cuisine combined with the delicious existing local flavors. We welcome you into their home and hope that you enjoy and feel part of the famiglia

    The Silverthorne Food Pairing evening was something special! Loved to hear about the food and wine from the Owner (Matteo) and the Wine Maker (John). The tastes were sensational. We felt like we could have been eating in a little village in Italy! An amazing vibe. Thank you. Would highly recommend.

    Fantastic food and great service, as always. We had seafood pasta, mushroom tagliatelle and marinara pizza. Every meal was wonderful. This restaurant is definitely a local favourite.

    Great food and personnel. Needs AC downstairs for hot nights like when we visited though.
