9th Avenue Waterside is a fine-dining restaurant located in the Durban yacht mole, off the city's picturesque Esplanade. Every feature of the establishment defines its character - from its location in the harbor, to the innovative design and menu and ultimately, to the exceptional dining experience. The intimate setting is complimented by the warmth of the inspired front-of-house team and the kitchen brigade, led by Head Chef, Theodorus Chiloane. Our mission is to inspire people to enjoy and appreciate food and dining, in a new way - from the communities we support producing sustainably farmed food and beverages, to the professionalism and knowledge of our staff, service and hospitality. The upstairs Cocktail Lounge provide the ideal space to de-stress after a busy day, meet with friends or business colleagues or host a private function. 9th Avenue Waterside also offers a variety of spaces for weddings, engagements, business events, product launches and special calendar days.     Very disappointed with the food, it was not fine dinning at all. My starter was seasonal summer soap but I got served something like butternut soap with coconut milk, for main I ordered to bone stake, The waiter did not even ask how to cook my stake, we canceled desert order, everything was just disappointing, not worth it at all.

    We celebrated our 9th anniversary in a grand style .It was all amazing from parking to service to the food the tour .We would like to thank Brent our waiter his service is exceptional we enjoyed every bit of it from starters to our deserts .We appreciate all your efforts to make this place to be exceptional.God bless you all

    9th Avenue Marina provided the most spectacular setting for my birthday celebration yesterday - 5 August. The ambiance is beautifully dreamy, enhanced by perfectly curated lighting that sets a truly magical mood. Every dish served was of MasterChef calibre - exquisitely presented and bursting with flavour. To top it off, their bespoke artisanal cocktails were absolutely divine. I will most certainly be returning and cannot recommend this exceptional venue highly enough.

    Too much salt in the food (sea food paella) had too much salt the rice was overcooked
