9th Avenue Waterside is a fine-dining restaurant located in the Durban yacht mole, off the city's picturesque Esplanade. Every feature of the establishment defines its character - from its location in the harbor, to the innovative design and menu and ultimately, to the exceptional dining experience. The intimate setting is complimented by the warmth of the inspired front-of-house team and the kitchen brigade, led by Head Chef, Theodorus Chiloane. Our mission is to inspire people to enjoy and appreciate food and dining, in a new way - from the communities we support producing sustainably farmed food and beverages, to the professionalism and knowledge of our staff, service and hospitality. The upstairs Cocktail Lounge provide the ideal space to de-stress after a busy day, meet with friends or business colleagues or host a private function. 9th Avenue Waterside also offers a variety of spaces for weddings, engagements, business events, product launches and special calendar days.     The restaurant really provided such an amazing experience for a surprise birthday. Everyone is helpful and so accommodating to requests. Having such a large group and no compromise on food flavour and portions is just the best. Have to return.

    We thoroughly enjoyed the lamb chops, prawn risotto and your chicken supreme. That garlic and smoked paprika infused oil which came with the bread was an absolute game changer. Definitely coming back.
