9th Avenue Waterside is a fine-dining restaurant located in the Durban yacht mole, off the city's picturesque Esplanade. Every feature of the establishment defines its character - from its location in the harbor, to the innovative design and menu and ultimately, to the exceptional dining experience. The intimate setting is complimented by the warmth of the inspired front-of-house team and the kitchen brigade, led by Head Chef, Theodorus Chiloane. Our mission is to inspire people to enjoy and appreciate food and dining, in a new way - from the communities we support producing sustainably farmed food and beverages, to the professionalism and knowledge of our staff, service and hospitality. The upstairs Cocktail Lounge provide the ideal space to de-stress after a busy day, meet with friends or business colleagues or host a private function. 9th Avenue Waterside also offers a variety of spaces for weddings, engagements, business events, product launches and special calendar days.     Was very disappointed with the allocated area. It felt like an after thought area and this was despite seeing a suitable area that was unoccupied inside. This was my wife's special day (Birthday) and we had to leave for another area as your place did not meet the standard. Thanks to a restaurant in Umhlanga that brightened our day and made up for the disaster at your place. Those sofas in the patio must be replaced as they are very uncomfortable. I wish I could take the waiter to another restaurant as he was simply the only best thing we appreciated about your place. Not sure why booking is even essential at your place
