The name "Agteros" reflects the owner's personal journey of perseverance and eventual success, inspired by the Afrikaans proverb "Agteros kom ook in die kraal" (The last ox also gets to the kraal).

    Lovely fresh trout, delicious Risotto and all and all a wonderful experience. Also a bonus- no corkage fee if you have a special bottle of wine or cap classique you want to enjoy.

    An evening to remember. Wonderful attention to decor details, lovely ambiance and thoughtful service from our waiter. The food was absolutely delicious. I will most definitely be back.
