Infused with a celebration of our love of art, our creative menus with simple, fresh ingredients, a boutique wine list and gorgeous interiors have been carefully crafted for the art of dining.

Reservation Policy:
Reservations will be held for 15 minutes past the scheduled time.
If you need to adjust your time within six hours of your booking, we can shift it by up to 30 minutes.

Entry Policy: We may decline entry if the dress code is not observed or if guests arrive visibly intoxicated.

Celebrate Love at Amare

Amare Restaurant in Bantry Bay serves Mediterranean-inspired cuisine with simple, vibrant flavours and a boutique wine selection. Open from 7:30am, we offer breakfast, lunch and dinner, with takeaway coffees and smoothies ideal for prom walks. Our chic yet relaxed, family-orientated atmosphere reflects our focus on community and connection. Kids enjoy 15 percent off the Kids Menu (U12) and were pet-friendly on the terrace. We host select music evenings and seasonal set-menu events including Christmas Eve/lunch and New Years Eve celebrations. A warm, coastal dining experience on the shores of Cape Town.

    understaffed, can not get them to cook pasta fresh and not use parboiled pasta. they just let us wait and insist it’s freshly cooked although it is not. ate there every day for a week but that did not help.

    I did not dine there. The table I had booked was given away to someone else but the rude waiter told me to take it up with the person I booked with instead of starting with an apology. So we left.

    When I called to say I will be late for my booking (7.22pm) as I had thought it was booked for 7.30pm not 7pm I was advised our table was given away but we could probably be seated on a couch. When we arrived at the restaurant it only had 2 tables occupied. The waitress was undertrained and not aware of the menu, lacked support and proper confidence to serve unassisted. The restaurant appeared dirty. The bill was incorrect twice, and then to apologize they removed the tip for the poor waitress instead which isn't fair on her. Overall not a pleasant experience.
