    Sadly an inadequate wine list, overpriced and containing no well known wines.

    Hi Pierre, It was a pleasure having you dine with us at Annam. My approach to the wine list is to introduce more South African boutique wine farms and give these producers the space they deserve within our hospitality industry. Well-known wines are easy to come by, but these smaller, unique wines are not always as accessible. We hope to see you again, as we will be launching a new wine list later in March.     Good Day Jurie, I am a curious wine drinker and like trying new wines. Unfortunately this is not true for every person or occasion. I do not say that you should not have some new choices but sadly, knowing the Pretoria scene well, you will pay a price if you do not cater for the conservative older clientel in Pretoria. For many, not me, Vietnamese food is already very adventurous.

    Very disappointing meal

    Thank you for dining with us on Saturday. It was a pleasure having you at Annam. I’m sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the food. I do recall that your Shaking Beef with egg fried rice was sent back, as your server mentioned that you felt the eggs were burnt. I was a little surprised by this comment, as we add a small amount of vegetable stock to our egg fried rice, which can give the eggs a slightly darker colour. Nonetheless, I immediately asked the kitchen to remake your dish. Your server later mentioned that both meals were enjoyed, which I hope was the case. We truly value your feedback and hope you’ll give us another opportunity to welcome you back so we can provide you with an even better experience.     Amazing experience at Annam Restaurant 😋 Authentic Vietnamese flavors, generous portions, and super friendly staff. The pho was super nice and the Noodle stir fry. Highly recommend this hidden gem in Pretoria👍. Can't wait to come back!
