The restaurant is decorated in an eclectic mix of old and new and has a warm inviting atmosphere. The sun drenched terrace with its vine draped pagodas, has spectacular views of the paddocks, vines and Table Mountain and is popular in summer. In winter a cozy fire and underfloor heating welcomes our guests.

The a la carte menu offers a mouthwatering selection. Indulge your senses with a hearty breakfast selection enjoyed in a relaxed atmosphere. Champagne breakfasts are ever popular. The lunch menu, bursting with flavor, boasts specialties such as the duck with a piquant Van der Hum sauce, matured Fillet of Beef and Norwegian Salmon with a Dill and Cucumber diamond cream. We also cater for Vegan and Vegetarian diners.

Lighter options put emphasis on organic and local produce, where salads and quiches appeal to the health-conscious. Delectable desserts including a gluten-free bake of the day, will linger in the mind long after the meal especially if savoured with the farm’s 10-year pot stilled brandy or the Above Royalty Liqueur Wine.

    We had lunch Saturday 8 November 2025 12h00. Our table was six people so the 10% tip was already included in the bill, when we paid the waiter (Avril) she punched R1000.00 to much, they could not refund me, or cancel the transaction. We were given a R1000.00 voucher, but I feel the waiter did this on purpose and though we will not notice. I am writing this because I feel jou need to know about this, and keep an eye on her.
