    The Mother's Day food was excellent, the wine less so and I though both were overpriced. But the worst was the chaos around our bill. At first, it was nearly R1,000 too high, then we were told twice that an amount R500 above where it should have been was correct. The sums were ridiculously simple, as I demonstrated twice to our waiter and the restaurant manager - who who both checked them on their smartphones, only to say the incorrect amounts were, in fact, correct. Sanity eventually prevailed, but it was an exceptionally unpleasant ending to what ought otherwise to have been a good day.

    Our waiter disappeared after desert, and we finally had to get someone else to finalise the bill. Up until that point, everything was great!

    Service was slow in the beginning as we waited to be served, but Lee-roy came in and saved the day with amazing service and hospitality skills that I haven't seen in the tourism industry in a long time. Everything was up from there. The food was great and definitely value for money. The wine complimented every dish Definitely heading back again.
