    There was no Food. I think that would be Great for the Next time. Like chocolate oder cheese. The Guide was very nice and he told us everything about the wines. The music was very good during the Tasting. Thanks for the good time!

    Hi Melina. Thanks for your review. There is a Cheese Board option for two people from the 1 February for R150; if you made the booking before that, it would not have shown up. As we do not have a kitchen/Restaurant, there needs to be a booking to guarantee that it is available, but if you walk in and ask, we may have been able to make a plan. If you booked yesterday and it didn't show up, please let us know, as Dineplan told us it was available. Cheers.

    We had the 4 sparkling wines + cake experience and it was the most perfect pairing. Our host was awesome and told us the story in a compelling way. These MCCs are in the top 2% of wines in the world, and we thoroughly enjoyed the tasting. I would have preferred a tasting with a view of the garden or winery, and the current tasting room is quite small and closed, with no view. Ambience music would also have been nice and true to the essence of the wine project, even if it wasn't the curated music experience. Other than that, we had a wonderful time.

    Hi Mima Thanks for taking the time to give us feedback. It's great that you rated the MCC and cake pairing so highly; it is much appreciated. Regarding the ambience, you are correct, there is meant to be music playing, and we will follow up on why this wasn't the case. In terms of the location, I would like to give you some context as to why we have a second tasting room at the Garden Cafe. This is an idea we had after travelling through Napa and Sonoma in California, where it is common for a winery that only does limited booking only tastings, as we do at the farm, to have a tasting room in or close to the town. We chose the Garden Cafe due to its proximity to the centre of Franschhoek, it doesn't require extensive driving or transport arrangements, plus there is a market and a restaurant that allows you to do more than just the tasting. We appreciate that the vineyards are a great place to do a tasting, and we do that with our Music and Wine pairings on a Saturday. Still, for those that can't make it or don't have the time, we wanted to create an opportunity to taste our wines at their convenience. I hope that explains our thought process. Cheers
