Our unique region crafts our cool-climate wines, creating penetrating fruit flavours, and a distinctive minerality. But we’re more than a winery: we’re a destination. We offer comparative Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon tastings, fresh farm-style snacks from our farm shop, as well as pre-booked platters, both enjoyed on our veranda or in our venue. Shop for local crafts and our cool-climate wines and craft beers in our shop. And stay over in our self-catering cottages overlooking the biodiversity-rich Agulhas Plain.

    Stunning views, great venue. Platters with huge variety of food - excellent quality and taste. The dogs add to the lovely experience.

    Everything was perfect; the only criticism is the flies and ants that were persistent and a nuisance to keep away from sitting on the food. I'm sure you've heard this before, and I understand it's on a working farm, it's the only thing that prevents a 10/10 score

    Value - the meal was a gift therefore we are not aware of the cost Ambience, unfortunately hard to comment as we were the only people there. It’s a very nice venue.

    Overall, a wonderful experience at Black Oystercatcher Wines. The tutored tasting was led by Blessing who is incredibly knowledgeable, informative and friendly. The wines were exceptional. We had pre-ordered a vegetarian platter which was fresh, beautifully presented and ample for the price. What a delightful experience.
