The Wine Tasting experience is housed in the historic wine cellar with it’s traditional thatched roof, white washed walls and rare yellow-wood ceilings. The interior is casual, generously furnished with leather couches, small lounges and a tasting bar.

The stone tiled terrace overlooks the lawns and magnificent 250 year old Norfolk Pine. Casual charcuterie platters with fresh baguettes are available as well as an artisan ale to cleanse your pallet.

Many visitors linger for hours and choose to purchase a bottle and relax on the lawns with friends and family.

All wines are offered for tasting at a fee of R 100,00 for 5 Wines

    Every time we go back we are reminded of the world class standard Buirenverwacht sets! All the convenience without the pretentiousness. Their staff are their biggest asset, second only to their wine!

    Disappointed with the limited selection of wines based on previous experiences. Looking forward to going again once new wines have been released

    Stunning experience, it was very quiet, some peacocks visited our table and stole some cheese off our cheeseboard :) Great wine, especially the Chenin Blanc!
