    The only issue we had is that the booking was made & confirmed twice. Phoned and on WhatsApp and email confirmed - when we got there NO one knew about the booking/reservation :(

    We had a lovely Valentines evening. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and efficient, and the dining room is beautiful and modern. We will definitely come back again.

    We were a table of three. While the ambiance was pleasant, the food and service fell short. My husband ordered a blue steak, but it arrived medium, and no steak knife was provided—he had to use a butter knife instead. He also ordered a side of onion rings but received grilled vegetables instead. I ordered the hake thermidor, which was described on the menu as grilled, but what arrived was battered fish. The restaurant has potential, but there seems to be a lack of attention to detail and a better understanding of the overall menu. When we asked about the gin selection, the waitron suggested Tanqueray and 1818, the latter being a vodka, which further highlighted the need for improved menu and drinks knowledge. Staff were friendly for the most part, but overall, better preparation and training would greatly improve the experience.

    My family and I had a lovely Christmas Lunch experience and I would recommend anyone to visit the Bonvino restuarant. The food and service was real value for money and I would book a Christmas lunch again anytime.
