    Our group enjoyed a fabulous dinner last night. Starters included : mushroom croquettes, seafood soup, trio of snails, all well presented, full of flavour and tasty. The blue cheese sauce served with the snails were delicious. Main courses - lamb chops, fish and chips, seafood gnocci were good as always.

    The perfect evening to celebrate my husbands birthday with some friends. Thank you! I had the ostrich fillet which was amazing. Our friends enjoyed their Gnocchi, Lamb Chops and Chicken calamari - all meals were delish. Service is attentive. Will always be back.

    It was my 1st visit to Cafe Monroe, and hopefully not my last. Cafe Monroe is by far the best restaurant in Durban. Classy, top service, and fantastic food. Hats off to Chef Margot and host Craig. 100% top class.
