    I’ve now been to Cafe Monroe twice and intend going back again often! Everything about the experience is excellent and it more than deserves its great reviews - which many places do not. The food, service, ambiance - all are exceptional. The pricing is very fair and Craig and Margo are a wonderful host/chef combo. And the decor and music are worth going back for on their own. A great time out and all should give it a go. In this era of safe dining at franchise venues it’s wonderful to be reminded how far quality, service and attitude can still take us!

    Great hosts and food. Pricing is excellent value for money. The Berea has lost its up-market restaurants. So good to have this relatively new arrival.

    Another great food experience. Craig & Margot give you such personal attention, which is quite rare these days. They make you feel so special. Wonderful ambiance and music, again

    Our group enjoyed a fabulous dinner last night. Starters included : mushroom croquettes, seafood soup, trio of snails, all well presented, full of flavour and tasty. The blue cheese sauce served with the snails were delicious. Main courses - lamb chops, fish and chips, seafood gnocci were good as always.

    Most enjoyable. A great dining experience with amazing, delicious food and excellent service . Would definitely go back to try some other dishes

    The perfect evening to celebrate my husbands birthday with some friends. Thank you! I had the ostrich fillet which was amazing. Our friends enjoyed their Gnocchi, Lamb Chops and Chicken calamari - all meals were delish. Service is attentive. Will always be back.
