    The basting on the meat is too acidic. It looks like they use balsamic vinegar witch spoils the meat.

    Honestly, the best steak I’ve ever eaten. I had a ribeye , the quality of the cut and the taste was insane. Staff were attentive, friendly but not over bearing. It’s only our first day in Cape Town but this will be hard to beat.

    In our party of 3 , one steak sent back , incorrectly cooked . Game meat trio , 2 of 3 three steaks tough as nails , sent back . Most expensive Dom Pedro’s in CT .. not a great experience

    Avoid this restaurant. Carne is no longer what it used to. Its like Giorgio has checked out. Such a pity.

    I took my son for his birthday and what a disappointment. My rump was so tough and sinewy, I could cut three pieces only. The knife was so blunt - I didn’t get to enjoy a good steak at all. My daughter doesn’t like blood in her steak - a specificccut was recommended - it tasted like cardboard. She ate maybe a third - in fact she gave it away when we left the restaurant!! It was such a disappointment. My son ate a piece of meat that was delish, but also the most expensive. If you are going to have a steak speciality restaurant - all steaks no matter the cut or price needs to be cooked to perfection.
