Cattle Baron Grill and Bistro Stellenbosch is a family-run restaurant re-opened under new ownership in August 2023 by Michael & Susan Van Rooyen. Situated on the R44 opposite the Mooiberge Strawberry Farm, the restaurant offers breathtaking views of the vineyards and sunsets. Relax and enjoy the view with a selection of hand-selected, local wines from the Cape Winelands. In addition to its warm ambiance, the separate patio area is ideal for the most memorable summer parties and events. The garden area offers a jungle gym for kids, while parents can relax at the picnic benches under umbrellas.

    Had a great time. They were very accommodating with us bring our daughter and a pram and made special arrangements for a table where we could easily have a pram next to it. Service was great and we’d definitely be coming back!

    The food is always amazing fresh salad the meat so well prepared the service we got from Nwabisa the waitress was superb 👌 great service friendly beautiful smile it's just it was a bit noisy with all the kids running up and down and we sat opposite the glass doors leading to the outside those doors was opened and closed so many times by people go in and out to the play area but other than that love Cattle baron Stellenbosch
