Cattle Baron Grill and Bistro Stellenbosch is a family-run restaurant re-opened under new ownership in August 2023 by Michael & Susan Van Rooyen. Situated on the R44 opposite the Mooiberge Strawberry Farm, the restaurant offers breathtaking views of the vineyards and sunsets. Relax and enjoy the view with a selection of hand-selected, local wines from the Cape Winelands. In addition to its warm ambiance, the separate patio area is ideal for the most memorable summer parties and events. The garden area offers a jungle gym for kids, while parents can relax at the picnic benches under umbrellas.

    I honestly had one of the best and most tender pieces of fillet here last night. Exceptional quality and flavour. The fire place and buzzing atmosphere adds to a lovely and cosy evening out. They are always packed, so booking is essential. .

    Dinner at Cattle Baron Stellenbosch was very nice, ohh whatna lovely lady who served our table Nwabisa such a sweetheart,.made our evening very warm and welcoming. I had the Sirloin Nevada andy friend had the Fillet Madagascar both medium to well. Beautiful dished we enjoyed our food 🙌🏽💯
