Cattle Baron Grill and Bistro Stellenbosch is a family-run restaurant re-opened under new ownership in August 2023 by Michael & Susan Van Rooyen. Situated on the R44 opposite the Mooiberge Strawberry Farm, the restaurant offers breathtaking views of the vineyards and sunsets. Relax and enjoy the view with a selection of hand-selected, local wines from the Cape Winelands. In addition to its warm ambiance, the separate patio area is ideal for the most memorable summer parties and events. The garden area offers a jungle gym for kids, while parents can relax at the picnic benches under umbrellas.

    I thoroughly enjoyed my Chateaubriand steak and chips....So delicious !!My friend loved her Sesame chicken and Avo....very good welcome and service excellent,lovely atmosphere with fire warmth was very welcome.

    The whole idea of going to Cattle Barron was for the burger special (50%off) which is advertised when you Google the establishment. We were politely told that it is no longer available. We did have a lot of options as everyone in the area has a Monday burger special so a tad disappointed. Food was good as always though!!
