    The experience was very disappointing. We only received our food an hour after being seated. The steaks were served well done even though we asked for medium, and the dishes arrived cold. I had to request that my food be warmed up, but it came back even harder than before. We couldn’t find parking for about 15 minutes as we were unaware that LIV was hosting an event, which seemed to affect the service because everything felt disorganised, chaotic and underwhelming. The waitress also got our orders wrong every time we ordered but we tried to be patient with her. It didn’t help that she blamed everything on the kitchen

    Was there for my birthday … waiter was Nhlanhla. Absolutely amazing service from him!!! …was very helpful in assisting and recommending meals. The sushi was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! … mains was not that amazing had lamp chops with mash, not enough seasoning. My friend had the seabass and mash nothing wow. The onion rings were not nice. Had complimentary slice of warm chocolate cake with cream … that was very nice. Cocktails nothing amazing ..:but the whiskey sour was lovely. Lastly, the music was pretty chilled.

    Firstly, the restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful. The ambience, the food, and the cocktails were all exceptional, we truly enjoyed the aesthetic and the quality of what was served. However, the service we received from the front-of-house staff was quite disappointing. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we were repeatedly reminded that our time was limited and that we needed to finish up by a certain time. This happened several times throughout our visit and unfortunately made the experience feel rushed and uncomfortable. It was difficult to enjoy our meal, conversations, or drinks with constant reminders that our time was almost up. If there is a strict time policy for reservations, it would be greatly appreciated if this information could be communicated clearly upfront whether during online booking or telephonically so that guests know what to expect. Additionally, finding a more courteous and customer-friendly way to manage time limits would make a huge difference in the overall experience. We loved the space and the food, but the manner in which the service was handled left the visit feeling quite distasteful. I hope this feedback helps improve future guest experiences.
