    My steak was horribly overdone The tiramasu desert was awful I really didnt enjoy my meal at all

    Mary and the team are spectacular! We hosted a birthday celebration here with well over 20 people and the service was impeccable, from the initial conversation right up to the day of the event, Mary went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and make recommendations. The guests loved the place as well as the food and I would recommend the place.

    ***** Absolutely loved the food and the service! The waiter was fantastic, and the chef went above and beyond by preparing a special salad for me because I don't eat lettuce. It exceeded all my expectations. Outstanding hospitality and delicious food. Highly recommended!

    Food was absolutely shocking, ordered lamb poitjie and was given beef that was tough and had no flavour and then was still charged for the more expensive gift. Had international guests and will never recommend Char Grill again!

    I have been to Char Grill in Hermanus and its nothing this restaurant is nothing like that. They took Tigersmilk venue and just put different furniture in it. The food was over priced, my meat was already cut for me which makes it dry and shows the chef cant cook a steak if its not cut up for him to see if its ready!. The dessert was store bought it was terrible. Wont be telling people to try this Grill house.
