Step into the gastronomic heart of the hotel and take your seat in an exclusive, hidden dining space. Watch in wonder as dishes are prepared right before your eyes—then uncover the inspiration behind each creation.

Inspired by the seasons and the desire to reduce our footprint on this wonderful land, the chefs have put their minds and attentions on sourcing, when possible, local organically grown produce that has the smallest impact on our environment. They deal with likeminded farmers and producers who share a desire that our children must also be able to share this land’s harvest with their children. They have excluded meat and fish intentionally and chosen to showcase and celebrate the wonderous bounty of Western Cape agriculture.

    Wonderful evening thank you to Lazarus and Isaac who looked after us like Royalty! It was a great treat in a fabulous location and we all left with beaming smiles on our faces and full tummies!

    Last year we stumbled across the Chef’s Table and went twice in as many weeks. The second time was to check out that it was really as good as the first time….and it was! This year, once we booked our visit to Cape Town, the next thing we booked was the Chef’s Table. Last night we were greeted by Lazarus our wonderful and welcoming host for the evening and by Isaac the chef. It was a feast, a banquet, a creative and a delicious experience as dish followed dish of superb delights. It was SO good that we’ve booked to dine at the Chef’s Table again next week. If you want an extraordinary and memorable meal, the Chef’s Table is a MUST!

    Each course was a crevendo in itself. Sauces sublime. Finale worthy. Cheese cource not to my taste. Stilton more to my liking
